Every ten years, The Maine Nature Conservancy conducts a survey and data collection in their preserves. This data gets combined with other data collected by the state to help understand the changes the preserve has undergone over the last ten years. One of the main concerns of this survey was to evaluate the spread of Beech Bark disease, which is raving beech trees in the north east. The photographs from this project will be used in their research report and for conservation education.
